The vintage cuvée must also establish and assert its position in the Clicquot range, and no longer find itself stuck between the brut and the prestige cuvées, Grande Dame and Cave Privée.

The launch of this 2004 vintage was also the occasion of a first for the Clicquot house: to market at the same time Vintage brut and Vintage Rosé. The 2004 was presented in 3 formats at this event: bottle, magnum and jeroboam. Formats that each benefit from the same dosage, namely 9gr / L for the brut and 7gr / L for the rosé.

Pinot noir is the common thread of the cuvées of Veuve Clicquot champagne, and it enters around 65% in vintage cuvées, an important part which results in vinous cuvées, with a beautiful structure and a remarkable aging potential.
