Veuve Clicquot's 2004 vintage highlights the characteristics of a unique year. A year in which climatic conditions enabled the grapes to ripen optimally. The Pinot Noirs harvested were fruity and fleshy, while the Chardonnays showed great distinction and the Pinot Meunier grapes were delicious.
The Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2004 is a brilliant, luminous golden color, while its fine bubbles rise lightly.
The first nose reveals aromas of crunchy fresh fruit (vine peach), citrus and a mineral touch inherited from limestone terroirs.
On the second nose, notes of violet and lilac emerge, accompanied by greedy aromas of hazelnut and quince.
On the palate, there's a clean attack, followed by a lovely freshness. Vintage 2004 is rich, generous, taut and dynamic.
