Alfred Gratien champagne

It was in 1864 that a 23 year old man, bearing the name of Alfred Gratien, established his Champagne house in Épernay. He develops his house with talent and stubbornness. And it was 10 years later that the history of the house would take its first turn. He meets Jean-Albert Meyer and joins forces with him in a vineyard in Saumur. When Alfred Gratien died, it was Jean-Albert Meyer who took over the company with the consent of his widow.
