The Brut Rosé from Alfred Gratien is a champagne that asserts itself with fruit and indulgence, a generous champagne.
This cuvée is made from a blend of Chardonnay (46%), Pinot Noir (29%) and Pinot Meunier (25%). To this blend is added 8% Pinot Noir vinified in red.
Alfred Gratien Brut Rosé is vinified and aged in small 228-liter oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, in order to respect the personality of the terroir and preserve its great freshness.
This Brut Rosé has a rose petal color and numerous fine bubbles.
The first nose reveals aromas of red fruits (strawberry, redcurrant) and peony.
As it warms, notes of wheat and biscuit emerge, along with hints of roasting.
On the palate, the Alfred Gratien Brut Rosé offers a clean attack, before the wine reveals its structure, beautiful acidity, and light tannins.
The length is remarkable, with a chalky and slightly smoky finish.
