Description

The new Clicquot Tape Collection pays homage to the 1960s through 6 boxes with a delightfully retro look. This limited edition is 100% recyclable, and the inner shape that holds the Carte Jaune bottle is made from a biodegradable cane pulp material.

The Brut Carte Jaune is the embodiment of Veuve Clicquot style. The dominance of Pinot Noir ensures the typical structure of the wines of the Reims house, while a light touch of Pinot Meunier completes the rounding. The Chardonnay gives it the elegance and finesse, necessary for the perfect balance of a vintage resulting from a blend of around 50 to 60 different vintages.

The traditional structure of the Brut Carte Jaune cuvée is made up of 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Pinot Meunier and 28 to 33% Chardonnay.

The blend includes a particularly high percentage of reserve wines from several harvests (5 to 6 on average): 25 to 35%, sometimes up to 40% to ensure the durability of the Veuve Clicquot style. These reserve wines, the oldest of which are up to nine years old, are kept individually, respecting the origin of the vintages and the years.

The Carte Jaune Veuve Clicquot displays a very beautiful color, with golden yellow reflections, and an abundant and fine mousse.

This Brut has a powerful nose, initially fruity (white fruits, dried fruits), then vanilla and brioche.

On the palate, the attack is frank and dynamic, then gives way to a fruity harmony. The wine has a certain structure, which classifies it in the family of structured and vinous Bruts.

The Carte Jaune Veuve Clicquot stands out for its remarkable aromatic persistence, and its fruity and spicy notes.

This Champagne offers an optimal balance between finesse and power.
