Carte Jaune Brut, presented in a jeroboam, is the true incarnation of the Veuve Clicquot style. A dominance of Pinot Noir gives this cuvee all the structure which is the hallmark of this champagne house, completed by a smoothness imparted by a touch of Pinot Meunier, and elegance and finesse brought by the Chardonnay.

The result is a perfectly balanced champagne created from a palette of 50 to 60 different Crus.

Traditionally composed of 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Pinot Meunier and 28 to 33% Chardonnay, the Carte Jaune also contains a particularly high percentage of reserve wines, generally between 25 to 35%, rising to 40% if necessary in order to ensure the regularity of the Veuve Clicquot style. These reserve wines, from several different harvests (5 to 6 on average, and up to nine years old), are aged individually to respect the character and origin of the different Crus and vintages.

Veuve Clicquot Carte Jaune is beautifully golden with an abundant, fine mousse.

The powerful nose opens with fruit aromas (white fleshed fruits, dried fruits) followed by vanilla and brioche.

The attack is clean and dynamic, leading to a harmonious fruitiness, with a solid architecture, which puts this champagne in the category of well-structured and vinous bruts.
