The origin of the Veuve Clicquot Arrow box

Inspired by traditional road signs, the Clicquot arrow invites you to celebrate travel with this yellow metal case, the iconic color of Veuve Clicquot. Since its creation in 1772, the House has exported its wines, first throughout Europe, then to the United States, and later to Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. At that time, traveling was an adventure and shipping wines around the world was a challenge.

Brut Carte Jaune

A non-vintage champagne, blended from a wide range of crus with a high proportion of reserve wines. Dosage Brut around 9 g/L. Creamy texture, yellow fruit, brioche notes and chalky texture. A consistent style, characterized by the dominance of Pinot Noir and the balance of the three grape varieties.

Arrow personalization

Personalization consists of inscribing a city (or place) and displaying the distance to the Reims cellars calculated in a straight line. The number of characters is limited to 18.

Storing this gift set

Store the Arrow box in a dry, temperate place. Store the bottle at 10–12°C, lying down, away from light. The metal case provides mechanical protection, but the thermal stability of the cellar remains crucial to preserving the finesse of the bubbles and the purity of the aromas.

Aging potential (bottle)

Optimal window: 2025–2030. 2025–2026: bright yellow fruit, lively on the palate. 2027–2028: more pronounced brioche and almond complexity. 2029–2030: notes of dried fruit and light honey, tension still present. The non-vintage Brut aims for stable and consistent expression.

Serving

Serve at 9–10°C in tulip glasses with a narrow rim. Pour in small streams to preserve the foam. The box is presented as a gift; remove the bottle just before serving to preserve its freshness.
