The Gosset Champagne House is the oldest wine house in Champagne. Its origins date back to 1584 when Pierre Gosset, lord and alderman of Aÿ, decided to open a wine trading house. The Gosset House is renowned for its expertise and excellence, which has been recognized with numerous awards. Today, the Gosset Champagne House offers wines of the highest quality with a unique style characterized by great freshness and depth.
The Grande Réserve champagne is a demonstration of the House's mastery and style, evolving with generous and indulgent notes. The Grand Rosé wine evolves with notes of small fruits and is distinguished by a skillful blend of freshness and maturity. The Blanc de Blancs champagne is the pinnacle of the House's non-vintage wines, with remarkable precision and purity expressing Gosset's excellence. Finally, the Célébris range, the flagship of the Gosset Champagne House, offers champagnes of ever greater refinement, intensity and subtlety.
THE HOUSE OF GOSSET OR THE CULTURE OF EXCELLENCE
The quality of Gosset champagnes is well established, and the house's products are unanimously acclaimed by champagne connoisseurs. Indeed, the expertise of the Gosset champagne house has already been recognized on numerous occasions. In 2010, the champagne house received the Trophée de l'Excellence Française (French Excellence Award) and in 2013, the Maison Gosset was awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV) label, making it the third champagne house in France to receive this distinction to date.
GOSSET EXPERTISE
With these awards, GOSSET's expertise is known and recognized for its difference. This expertise consists of not subjecting the wines to malolactic fermentation. As a result, the wines retain all their freshness and elegant fruity aromas. This method is complemented by an average of four years' ageing in the cellars, which gives Gosset champagnes their roundness and complexity, accompanied by incredibly fine bubbles. Every Gosset product is of the same high quality. To achieve this, the house imposes strict rules so that every bottle that leaves its cellar offers more than just a taste, but a journey and a discovery of aromas on the palate.
