The Grande Réserve from Gosset, presented here in a jeroboam bottle, is the symbol of the Gosset style. A blend of 46% Chardonnay and 54% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, including 12% reserve wines (aged for an average of two years), this cuvée has a big personality and beautiful harmony.
It is a vinous and powerful champagne with beautiful suppleness and great balance. An assertive cuvée with enormous personality, mischievous and very harmonious.
The Grande Réserve from Gosset has a pale golden yellow color, enhanced by a fine string of light bubbles.
The nose is intense and complex. Aromatic notes mingle with flowers (daffodil, lime blossom) and fruit (cherry, blackberry) against a backdrop of roasted aromas.
On the palate, this cuvée is full-bodied, vinous and concentrated. Beautiful aromas of dried fig and candied cherry are followed quickly by notes of toasted almond and biscuit.
The finish is long and powerful.
