The Brut Millésimé 2014, presented here in magnum and signed Taittinger, is a champagne that expresses itself on notes of white flowers and fresh fruit. An ideal aperitif cuvée.
The year 2014 was characterized by mild temperatures and frequent rainfall. Warm weather set in at the beginning of April, bringing the vegetative cycle forward by 10 days. Full flowering begins in June. Summer is dotted with dry, wet and cool spells. Chardonnays combine notes of white flowers and citrus fruit, with a full, acidic mouthfeel. Pinot Noirs present subtle, frank aromas of tangy white fruit and sometimes hints of red fruit. On the palate, they are well structured, lively and fresh.
Taittinger Vintage 2014 is made exclusively from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay classified as Premiers and Grands Crus.
Taittinger Brut Millésimé 2014 is a delicate, airy, elegant champagne, with a fine balance of freshness and aromatic intensity.
On the nose, aromas of fresh fruit and flowers stand out.
The palate is chiselled, with great precision, dominated by citrus fruits, followed by rounder aromas of white fruits. The bubbles are creamy and delicate, supporting the aromatic palette. The finish is complex and long.
