Taittinger's Brut Millésimé 2012 is a champagne with citrus and floral notes. An ideal aperitif cuvée.
The year 2012 was marked by climatic hazards that reduced the harvest. But thanks to a cold winter and exceptionally dry, sunny August and September, the quality of the harvest was superb. The quality of the grapes produced wines of great aromatic finesse. The Chardonnays are complex, with white flower and citrus aromas. On the palate, they are fresh, invigorating and well-balanced, with a full finish. They promise excellent ageing potential. The Pinots Noirs have received rave reviews. They combine a nose of white and red fruits with rose aromas. On the palate, they are frank and fleshy.
Taittinger Vintage 2012 is made exclusively from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay classified as Premiers and Grands Crus.
Taittinger Brut Millésimé 2012 is a delicate, airy, elegant champagne, with a fine balance of freshness and aromatic intensity.
On the nose, aromas of citrus fruit and mandarin zest stand out, followed by floral notes.
On the palate, the attack is fresh and lively, dominated by citrus fruits, followed by rounder aromas of pears and raisins. The finish is complex and long, with hints of licorice.
