The Philipponnat House is located in Ay, the birthplace of the Philipponnat family for nearly five centuries. Today, the House owns 20 hectares of vineyards in the Premiers and Grands Crus appellations in Ay, Mareuil-sur-Ay, and Avenay, which are cultivated as naturally as possible. The principle of perpetual reserve is part of the House's traditions. The reserve wines are kept in oak barrels and partly reintroduced into the blend of non-vintage cuvées. The cuvées of Maison Philipponnat thus retrace its history and express its specific characteristics.

The Cuvée Royale Réserve pays tribute to the founders, vineyard owners and suppliers of Louis XIV. It is a harmonious champagne offering superb value for money. The Cuvée 1522 recalls the year the family settled in the heart of Champagne. This cuvée is made from the House's most remarkable wines and offers the palate a beautiful balance between richness and freshness. The Cuvée du Clos des Goisses refers to an exceptional vineyard acquired in 1935. Facing south, it covers 5.5 hectares in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ and produces the House's most prestigious cuvée.
