Description
The cuvee Royale Réserve Rosée from Philipponnat is an exquisitely enjoyable champagne bursting with red fruits and a touch of citrus.
It’s a blend of the three traditional Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir (50 to 60%), Chardonnay (25 to 30%) and Pinot Meunier (15 to 20%), enriched by the presence of reserve wines which bring complexity and vinosity. Red wine added to the blend imparts its unique color and aromas to this rosé. Philipponnat Royale Réserve Rosée is salmon pink with coppery reflections.
The nose reveals a champagne in a register of cherries and wild strawberries, followed by citrus aromas such as grapefruit zest.
Following an attack of great purity and elegance, the palate opens fully on a framework of crisp fruit.
The long final is pure and tight, lightly dry. Philipponnat Royale Réserve Rosée will accompany with brio fish dishes, smoked meats and white meats.
