R.H. Coutier champagne

The R.H. Coutier Champagne House is a family estate located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay. For more than five generations, the Coutier family has been passionately cultivating its vines and ensuring that its expertise is passed down from generation to generation. Its philosophy is based on a simple principle: minimal intervention to preserve the terroir's expression as much as possible. Today, the estate covers more than 9 hectares, mainly planted with Pinot Noir, the region's emblematic grape variety. But the Coutier estate is exceptional! It was one of the first to plant Chardonnay on this terroir in 1948. This grape variety accounts for a third of its vineyard and enables the house to offer elegant, refined and balanced blends.

R.H. Coutier champagnes are the result of precision work and a love of the terroir. The Cuvée Tradition is the estate's most representative cuvée. It perfectly embodies the typical characteristics of the Ambonnay terroir. The Cuvée Blanc de Blancs is the estate's atypical cuvée. It will give you an experience of a powerful Chardonnay produced in a region dominated by Pinot Noir. The Cuvée Millésimée, produced only in the best years, is the pinnacle of the house's excellence. It is the result of a selection of the best grapes from the harvest, and its prolonged aging in the cellar allows complex aromas to develop.
