Based in Festigny, in the Marne Valley, Boonen is first and foremost a story of family and terroir. Here, they take champagne-making seriously, without taking themselves too seriously. Their motto sums up their philosophy perfectly: “made with humor and seriousness.” And that comes through just as much in their wines as in their approach to winemaking. The estate primarily cultivates Pinot Meunier, the emblematic grape variety of the Flagot Valley, which yields rich, fruity wines full of charm. Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, the philosophy is simple: respect the grape and let the terroir speak for itself. Vinification is clean and controlled, with barrel aging for certain cuvées, and the champagnes are given time to age to develop complexity.

The house offers a range of champagnes that are accessible, delicious, and full of personality, with a real focus on Meunier. Ça Passe Tout Seul (CPTS), the signature cuvée, was conceived as a convivial, accessible, and versatile champagne. A blend of the three Champagne grape varieties, it offers a fresh, fruity, and indulgent style, carried by a creamy effervescence and a lovely length. Its rosé version, CPTS Rosé, highlights Pinot Meunier vinified as a red, bringing a beautiful aromatic intensity. It captivates with its generous, fruity, and indulgent profile, dominated by notes of strawberry and raspberry. This indulgence is also found in the Le Cirque cuvée, a 100% Meunier from the “Cirque de Festigny” terroirs. It offers a rich and generous profile, typical of the great Meuniers of the Marne Valley.
