Description

Boonen Champagne’s CPTS cuvée is a nod to conviviality and instant enjoyment. Behind its evocative name— “Ça Passe Tout Seul” —lies a wine crafted with as much humor as technical precision. A true companion for any occasion, this champagne expresses the richness and freshness of the great Meunier terroirs of the Marne Valley. An unpretentious cuvée, designed for sharing and celebration.

The production of the CPTS cuvée

To create this "all-purpose" wine, Maison Boonen relies on a precise winemaking process aimed at preserving the fruit’s vibrancy and the bubbles’ suppleness.

Balance and Expertise

  • Blend: A harmonious blend of the three Champagne grape varieties, with a prominent role for Meunier.
  • Vinification: Fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks to ensure optimal aromatic purity.
  • Malolactic Fermentation: Fully completed to bring roundness and richness to the wine.
  • Aging: Aged for 24 months in the cellar, allowing for the development of subtle complexity while retaining great liveliness.
  • Dosage: Extra-Brut (3 g/l), a minimalist dosage that allows the terroir to express itself clearly.

The Terroir: The Cirque de Festigny

The vineyard is situated in the heart of the Cirque de Festigny, on the left bank of the Marne Valley (Flagot Valley). This area is renowned for its "Great Meunier Terroirs." The vines draw their character from a mosaic of clay-limestone and sandy-siliceous soils. This unique blend gives the wine a structure that is both full-bodied and light, marked by a delicate minerality and striking contrasts in texture.
