The history of Maison Bonnet-Ponson began in 1862 in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, in the village of Chamery. This family-owned champagne house now owns around fifty plots scattered across the villages of Chamery, Vrigny, Coulommes-la-Montagne (classified Premier Cru) and Verzenay (classified Grand Cru). A deep attachment to the land, a quest for authenticity, and respect for life are values that are dear to Bonnet-Ponson champagne. Cyril Bonnet, the sixth generation of winemakers in the family, now runs the estate after converting all of the plots to organic farming.
Maison Bonnet-Ponson offers a rich and diverse range of champagnes. The range begins with the Cuvée Perpétuelle, which draws its generosity, richness, and complexity from the clay-limestone and sandy soils of the "little mountain" of Reims. Available in Extra Brut, Rosé, and Non Dosé versions. Maison Bonnet-Ponson stands out with unique cuvées such as Cuvée Le Jour, a single-vineyard, single-varietal champagne made exclusively from Pinot Meunier grapes from the "Le Jour" plot located in the Vrigny terroir, a Premier Cru of the Montagne de Reims. A natural cuvée that offers deliciousness and minerality.
