The story of Maison Valentin Leflaive started a few centuries ago in Burgundy, in Puligny-Montrachet. It's a family adventure driven by a love of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and a quest for precision in expressing terroir. Since 2015, this adventure has continued in Champagne, in Oger, in the heart of the great terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. The expertise of the parcel-by-parcel approach is perpetuated, from the work in the vineyard to the vinification, offering a unique journey through the lieux-dits and crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Aging on lees in vats or Burgundy barrels helps reveal the full complexity of Valentin Leflaive cuvées.
Valentin Leflaive champagnes offer a sensory adventure with tension and freshness as the common thread. Among the Signature cuvées, we find the CV 19 cuvée, which embodies the elegance and complexity of the great Blancs de Blancs, and the MA 17 cuvée, which combines the finesse of Chardonnay with the richness of Pinot Noir. The range then becomes increasingly precise, offering an authentic expression of each terroir. The Le Mesnil-sur-Oger cuvée is a perfect example of this, embodying all the minerality and elegance of this iconic Côte des Blancs terroir.
