R de Ruinart champagne is the flagship cuvée of the Reims-based brand. It combines the elegance of Ruinart champagne with ecological innovation in its Seconde Peau packaging. This cuvée is distinguished by its perfect balance and delicate fruit and floral aromas.
R de Ruinart champagne in a Seconde Peau box illustrates the art of Champagne blending. Composed of three Champagne grape varieties, Pinot Noir (40 to 45%), Meunier (10 to 15%), and Chardonnay (40%), it achieves a balance between power, fruitiness, and freshness. These grapes come from 40 to 50 carefully selected vineyards, mainly located in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions.
R de Ruinart is vinified in stainless steel vats to highlight the freshness and tension of the Champagne grapes. Malolactic fermentation is then carried out to round out the wines and give them a creamy texture. Aged in the cellar for two to three years, this champagne develops a beautiful aromatic complexity. With a dosage of 7g/L, it offers a balanced palette between roundness and liveliness. This champagne is perfect as an aperitif or even with a gourmet meal.
On the eye, R de Ruinart champagne reveals itself through a golden color that evokes the richness and elegance of this cuvée.
On the nose, this champagne offers fruity aromas (apple, apricot, etc.) and a hint of dried fruit. On the second nose, a subtle complexity emerges with a touch of elderflower. Finally, notes of brioche and biscuit bring a delicious dimension.
On the palate, the R de Ruinart offers a rounded attack. Then, in the mid-palate, notes of yellow fruit, plum tart and stone fruit emerge. The finish is marked by the characteristic freshness of Chardonnay, bringing a lively touch.
The price of a bottle of R de Ruinart champagne in a Seconde Peau case is 65,95 €. This price reflects the exceptional quality of this champagne, made from selected vintages and presented in environmentally friendly packaging.
