The production of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs champagne
Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is the perfect example of Champagne Ruinart's mastery of winemaking. It is made from Chardonnay grapes from around thirty different crus, mainly located in the Côte des Blancs. After careful selection of the grapes during the harvest, alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve the natural purity of the grape variety. Malolactic fermentation is carried out to add a touch of roundness. The Blanc de Blancs is then left to rest in the cellar for two to three years, giving this cuvée its unique complexity and elegance. The dosage is 7g/L, achieving a perfect balance between freshness and roundness.
