R de Ruinart champagne in magnum format is a cuvée that combines elegance and balance. Thanks to its generous size, R de Ruinart magnum is the ideal champagne for celebratory occasions. Its fruity notes and touch of freshness pair perfectly with a delicious aperitif.
R de Ruinart in magnum is the result of a blend of three iconic Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir (40 to 45%), Pinot Meunier (10 to 15%), and Chardonnay (40%). These grape varieties come from 40 to 50 carefully selected crus, mainly located in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims terroirs. This diversity of supply allows Ruinart to produce a very balanced champagne, faithful to its unique style.
After manual harvesting, the grapes are vinified in stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness of the aromas. Malolactic fermentation is carried out to round out the wine and give it a smooth texture. This magnum is then aged in the Ruinart cellars for two to three years. During this period, it develops remarkable aromatic complexity, characterized by a precise dosage of 7g/L that perfectly balances the liveliness of the Chardonnay and the roundness of the other grape varieties.
On the eye, Ruinart's R champagne in magnum stands out with its shimmering yellow-gold color. Its effervescence is sustained, with a persistent cordon and fine, lively bubbles dancing in the glass.
On the nose, this champagne reveals a complex aromatic bouquet with notes of white fruits, particularly pear, and hints of dried fruits such as hazelnut and almond. There are also floral nuances of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn, wild rose) and a touch of brioche and butter that adds to its richness.
On the palate, the R de Ruinart in magnum is rich and balanced. The attack is lively and dynamic, with aromas of ripe fruits such as greengage and white peach. The finish is long and persistent, marked by a beautiful liveliness that makes it a wine that is both full-bodied and elegant.
The magnum, containing the equivalent of two bottles, not only looks impressive on a table, but also offers advantages for storing champagne. Thanks to its larger volume, champagne ages more slowly in a magnum, allowing it to retain its freshness and complexity for longer. In addition, a magnum serves around 12 glasses, perfect for an evening with friends or a celebration.
The price of a magnum of R de Ruinart champagne is 136,95 €. This price reflects the remarkable quality and aromatic complexity of this champagne. For those looking for an excellent champagne to share in good company, R de Ruinart in a magnum is an attractive option, combining quality and generosity.
