Founded in 1922 by Georges Baradon and Maurice Janisson, Maison Janisson-Baradon has been based in the hills above Épernay since its inception. Its vineyard covers more than 9 hectares, where the three main Champagne grape varieties are grown. Four other less common grape varieties have also found a home on the estate: Arbanne, Petit Meslier, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. These forgotten grape varieties flourish on a 40-acre plot. Today, Cyril and Maxence (the fifth generation of winemakers) are at the helm of the estate and practice sustainable viticulture using environmentally friendly methods.

Maison Janisson-Baradon crafts its wines around the values of finesse and subtlety. The Cuvée Brut Sélection is a perfect example of this. A blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, including 30% reserve wines aged in oak barrels, this cuvée seduces with its fine bubbles and subtle aromas. Among the more specific cuvées, how can we not mention the Cuvée Toulette, made from a 30-acre plot planted with Chardonnay. Vinified and aged in oak barrels without malolactic fermentation, this cuvée offers a perfect balance between aromatic power and mineral tension.

Plus de Bulles no longer offers the vintages of this brand, however we offer the largest selection of champagne web with 952 wines available.
