The blend of this cuvée is based on an almost equal distribution of grape varieties: 34% Pinot Noir, 33% Pinot Meunier, and 33% Chardonnay. This harmonious composition is the result of a meticulous selection of the best vintages, aiming to obtain a complex and delicate wine. Presented in a superb box dedicated to the architecture of the tower, this bottle embodies Parisian elegance and Champagne expertise.
The grapes come from a mosaic of prestigious terroirs. The Pinot Noirs come from the Grande and Petite Montagne de Reims, providing structure. The Pinot Meuniers are selected from the best vintages for their fruitiness, while the Chardonnays come from the famous Côte des Blancs, guaranteeing finesse and elegance.
Maison De Venoge applies precise vinification techniques to preserve the wine's freshness and distinction. The dosage is Brut at 6 g/L, a choice that highlights the natural liveliness of the blend without weighing it down.
Although not vintage, this cuvée was produced specifically for the 130th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower. It represents a "snapshot" of the De Venoge style at a given moment in time, seeking to reproduce the excellence and splendor of the grand receptions of the late 19th century. The blend aims for complexity and consistency, offering a mature wine that is ready to drink.
The color is fluid and luminous, enlivened by a light and abundant mousse that forms a persistent cordon on the surface.
The nose develops complex and delicate aromas. There is a harmonious bouquet combining white flowers with notes of fresh fruit.
On the palate, the wine is distinguished and lively. The texture is carried by a persistent floral structure, offering a remarkable balance between the freshness of Chardonnay and the roundness of Pinots.
Thanks to its protective box, this bottle is protected from light. It is recommended to store it horizontally in a cool cellar (40-54°F) at a constant temperature. This special edition deserves to be stored with care to preserve its delicate effervescence.
The Princes Tour Eiffel cuvée is ready to drink today to enjoy its floral liveliness. However, it can be stored in the cellar for 3 to 5 years, where it will gain slightly in roundness while retaining its distinction.
Serve this champagne well chilled, between 44°F and 46°F, to enhance its liveliness and freshness. A tulip-shaped white wine glass is ideal for allowing its complex aromas to express themselves.
The legitimacy of this cuvée is historic: Maison De Venoge was one of the official partners ofthe 1889 World's Fair. It was during this global event that the Eiffel Tower was inaugurated. By creating this edition 130 years later, the House is simply reviving the memory of the glasses raised at the foot of the Iron Lady at the end of the 19th century.
