In November 2017, Princes Blanc de Noirs was awarded a score of 93/100 by the Parker guide, the highest score ever given to a non-vintage champagne!
The Blanc de Noirs from the Princes Cuvée is a full-bodied, round and structured Champagne that pairs well with fish, white meat (poultry, veal) or desserts made with nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts). Made exclusively from Pinot Noir, it is a blend of Premiers and Grands Crus from the Montagne de Reims (Verzy and Verzenay) with a selection of parcels from the commune of Les Riceys.
Its elegant, carafe-shaped appearance is reminiscent of the crystal decanters used by the aristocracy in the 20th century.
The pale yellow color is adorned with sumptuous green and silver highlights, heralding a pleasant freshness on the palate.
The nose is richly aromatic. Very fruity, it offers aromas of fresh red fruits (blackcurrant) with a lovely freshness provided by underlying minerality.
The palate is characterized by an elegant vinosity that in no way detracts from its delicious brightness.
