In November 2017, Princes Extra Brut was awarded a score of 93/100 by the Parker guide, the highest score ever given to a non-vintage champagne!
The Princes Extra Brut cuvée from Maison de Venoge is a champagne made for aperitifs.
It comes in a carafe-shaped bottle, reminiscent of the habits of the European aristocracy in the early 20th century, who decanted champagne into crystal carafes.
The Princes Extra Brut cuvée is a blend of 35% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier, and 35% Chardonnay, a combination that marries finesse and fruit, underscored by a light dosage (4g/l).
This cuvée has a pale gold color and extremely fine bubbles.
On the nose, this champagne offers notes of citrus, yellow fruit, and pastry.
On the palate, it has a clean and lively attack, followed by beautiful fruity aromas.
A superb cuvée for aperitifs.
