The magnum of Billecart-Salmon's Le Rosé cuvée is a true icon among rosé champagnes. It combines great elegance, remarkable finesse, and vibrant liveliness. With its pale pink color and delicate red fruit aromas, this champagne is the perfect accompaniment to gourmet dishes.
This exceptional cuvée is a blend of 45% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 20% Meunier. The grapes are mainly sourced from the Montagne de Reims and Coteaux Sud d'Épernay terroirs. Some of the Pinot Noir grapes are vinified in red to give the champagne its delicate color and beautiful structure. Vinification in stainless steel vats preserves the purity of the aromas and the freshness of the wine. Aging on lees for 36 months in the historic cellars of Billecart-Salmon refines its complexity and aromatic balance. The Extra Brut dosage highlights the precision and delicacy of this cuvée.
The magnum is a popular format due to its optimal preservation qualities. With a lower oxygen-to-volume ratio than a standard bottle, it allows for slower and more harmonious aging, enhancing the finesse and complexity of the aromas. Ideal for special celebrations, the magnum offers an optimal tasting experience. It serves approximately 15 flutes.
The Rosé is distinguished by a pale, luminous color, enhanced by a fine, persistent effervescence.
The nose is seductive, revealing delicate red fruit aromas such as strawberry and raspberry, combined with floral and zesty citrus notes.
On the palate, the champagne reveals a smooth and balanced texture. The flavors of wild strawberries intertwine with a tangy freshness, leaving a mineral and fruity finish.
The price of a magnum of Le Rosé champagne from Billecart-Salmon is 156,95 €. This format, produced with the utmost care, is perfect for celebrating special occasions.
