Description

This 82/16 vintage comes from the Perpetual Reserve of Maison Vazart-Coquart. This magical blend incorporates 35 vintages, from 1982 to 2016, hence the name 82/16. It will delight discerning wine lovers during special moments.

During each harvest, Jean-Pierre Vazart selects the Chardonnays that best represent the year to include in the Réserve Perpétuelle. This cuvée is therefore the reflection of more than 30 years of life in the Grand Cru vineyards of the Maison located in Chouilly. This perpetual reserve is renewed each year by 40%.

The wines are stored in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve freshness and perfectly regulate oxidation. Malolactic fermentation has been carried out. For this edition, Jean-Pierre Vazart has chosen not to add any dosage to his cuvée. It is therefore a Brut Nature.

On the nose, this cuvée remains discreet in the first few minutes. But as the minutes pass, secondary aromas emerge, evoking dried fruit, vanilla, and white flowers.

On the palate, this is a very fine champagne, offering an aromatic palette ranging from yellow fruits to vanilla, with mineral notes. The finish is superb, long, full-bodied, and elegant.

This 82/16 cuvée from Maison Vazart-Coquart is the perfect accompaniment to gourmet dishes such as white fish in sauce.
