The Cuvée 82/14 is the hallmark of the Vazart-Coquart estate. This cuvée comes from a Perpetual Reserve started in 1982, with 40% renewed each year until the 2014 vintage.
During each harvest, Jean-Pierre Vazart selects the most representative Chardonnays of the year to include in the Réserve Perpétuelle. This cuvée is therefore the reflection of more than 30 years of life in the Grand Cru vineyards of the house located in Chouilly.
The wines are kept in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve freshness and perfectly regulate oxidation. Malolactic fermentation has been carried out, and the dosage is Extra Brut, around 1g/l.
The Cuvée 82/14 from Vazart-Coquart is a champagne that breaks the mold. It starts with a discreet, almost closed nose, but after a few minutes of opening, a wine of a completely different magnitude emerges. Notes of white flowers are followed by more indulgent notes evoking dried fruit and vanilla.
On the palate, this is a very refined champagne, offering an aromatic palette ranging from yellow fruits to vanilla, with hints of minerality. The finish is superb, long, full-bodied, and elegant.
