Piper-Heidsieck is one of Champagne's must-have brands. Its red label is one of the most recognizable! Pinot Noir is the house's signature grape variety. It is at the heart of Piper-Heidsieck cuvées, bringing structure, power, and balance. The house attaches particular importance to the use of reserve wines in its blends. The Piper-Heidsieck style could be defined as elegant, precise, and balanced.
The Piper-Heidsieck range impresses with the great purity and mastery of the Cuvée Essentiel. Available in a pure Chardonnay version, the Cuvée Essentiel Blanc de Blancs is a blend of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims and the Sézannais, with a minimum of 35% reserve wines. The Cuvée Rare is in a class of its own. Its 2008 vintage, one of the finest in recent years in Champagne, is remarkable. It offers a pure and infinite springtime experience and exceptional complexity.

The Piper-Heidsieck house is located in Reims, in the heart of the Champagne region. It has vineyards spread across the entire Champagne region.
The history of Piper-Heidsieck dates back to 1785, when Florens-Louis Heidsieck, a young German living in Reims, decided to found his own champagne house. His ambition was to create a wine capable of "charming a queen," a dream he achieved with flying colors. In 1835, after his death, his nephew Christian Heidsieck joined forces with Henri-Guillaume Piper, a visionary businessman, to found what would become Piper-Heidsieck.
