      Description

Discover Palmer & Co's La Réserve magnum, an exceptional champagne combining precision, freshness, and maturity.

The blend of Palmer & Co's La Réserve champagne

Palmer & Co's La Réserve cuvée, available here in magnum format, is a model of balance and elegance. Composed of 50-55% Chardonnay, 30-35% Pinot Noir and 20-25% Meunier, it also includes a significant proportion of reserve wines, representing 30-35% of the blend. This unique composition ensures remarkable consistency and complexity over the years.

      The vineyard

The grapes used for La Réserve come from the best terroirs of the Montagne de Reims, a region renowned for the quality of its Grands and Premiers Crus. Palmer & Co benefits from the cooperation of more than 300 partner winegrowers, cultivating vines on approximately 400 hectares. This diversity allows us to select the best grapes for each cuvée, thus guaranteeing optimal quality.

      Vinification

The vinification of La Réserve is distinguished by a rigorous process that respects Champagne traditions. The wines are aged on lees for 5-6 years in magnums, giving the champagne exceptional depth and aromatic richness. The dosage is kept at 6-7 g/L to ensure perfect harmony between freshness and roundness.

      The Palmer & Co style

Palmer & Co is renowned for its elegant and precise style, a timeless signature that is fully expressed in La Réserve. Under the direction of cellar master Xavier Berdin, the house combines traditional methods and modern innovations, resulting in champagnes of remarkable finesse. The reserve wines, from the "perpetual reserve," add an extra dimension of complexity and consistency.
