Every year, Laurent-Perrier offers a special edition of its Cuvée Rosé.
For the end of 2017, the house decided to dress its cuvée in a metallic rose gold dress, to great effect. This dress can then be reused to dress other Cuvée Rosé bottles.
Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier is one of the rare rosé champagnes made using the saignée technique, i.e., letting the grapes naturally give the champagne its color and aromas. It's a delicate operation that demands precision and patience.
Laurent-Perrier's Cuvée Rosé is dressed in a sparkling salmon hue. The first notes reveal a fresh champagne, with aromas of strawberry, redcurrant and raspberry.
The palate is fruity, lively and slightly acidic. Notes of red berries are very present, and very greedy.
