      The Making of La Cuvée Laurent-Perrier en Mathusalem

      The mathusalem of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée is the result of a blend dominated by Chardonnay (50 to 55%), combined with 30 to 35% Pinot Noir and 15 to 20% Meunier. This choice of a majority of Chardonnay gives this cuvée a unique personality, marked by freshness and minerality. The exclusive use of the cuvée, that is, the first juices from the pressing, guarantees exceptional quality.

      More than 100 rigorously selected crus contribute to the creation of this cuvée. To preserve the consistency of the Laurent-Perrier style, 20 to 30% of reserve wines are integrated into the blend, ensuring remarkable regularity and quality. Aged for a long time in the house's cellars, La Cuvée achieves aromatic complexity while retaining a brilliant freshness. The very low dosage allows the purity and richness of the wine to express itself.
