Georges Remy is one of the most brilliant winemakers in Champagne. Based in Bouzy, a village renowned for its Pinot Noir grapes, he produces exceptional wines from plots located in the Grand Cru communes of Bouzy and Ambonnay, and the Premier Cru communes of Tauxières and Louvois. Georges Remy takes great care in working the soil and tending the vines. His soils have been plowed since 2012 and the estate has been certified organic since 2018. Georges Remy champagnes are distinguished by their complexity, while the Coteaux Rouges are known for their delicacy and expressiveness.
Reflecting the Domaine Georges Remy, the Cuvée Les Quatre Terroirs is a Pinot Noir-dominant cuvée made from grapes grown in the estate's four villages (Bouzy, Ambonnay, Louvois, and Tauxières). It is a signature champagne with a strong personality. Georges Remy also produces a few confidential cuvées. The Cuvée Les Muits 2019, produced in only 1,498 bottles and 40 magnums, is a perfect example. A natural champagne, 100% Chardonnay, generous and delicious.
