      Description

The Vintage 2008 Dom Pérignon is certainly one of the most anticipated vintages of recent years.

The 2008 vintage is one of the greatest of recent years, yet it started off rather badly, with wet and gray weather. But a magnificent September offers grapes with an absolutely perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. After more than 10 years in the cellars of the Dom Pérignon house, the Vintage 2008 asserts itself as a streamlined, slender champagne, with bright fruit aromas and remarkable persistence.

Here offered in a box, the Vintage 2008 Dom Pérignon offers a dazzling, complex and luminous nose with notes of white flowers, citrus fruits and stone fruits. Notes underlined by a slightly minty touch.

On the palate, this is a huge cuvée. The Vintage 2008 is slender, refined, invigorating. The fruit bursts out loud and clear, and the acidity, a hallmark of this vintage, is remarkably integrated here.

The finish evokes spices and ends with a smoky touch.

Already an immense champagne in its first fullness, which has an equally immense aging potential.
