This Brut Réserve magnum is the result of a precise blend of more than 60 crus, selected for their complementary characteristics and aging potential. Three flagship villages give the Charles Heidsieck style its signature:
The composition is based on a finely balanced blend:
What makes this cuvée unique is the presence of 50% reserve wines, some aged for over 10 years, which give it remarkable depth. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, with 5 to 10% of the wine aged in wood to add extra soul and complexity.
Thanks to its reduced air/liquid ratio, the magnum allows the champagne to evolve more slowly and harmoniously. This format preserves freshness while promoting the development of subtle secondary aromas. It is also ideal for special occasions, allowing up to 12 flutes to be served with elegance. Finally, it appeals to those who like to keep their champagne for a long time: a well-preserved magnum will reveal even more complexity over the years.
"Complex and intriguing, Brut Réserve stands out for its elegance, texture, and long finish. The 50% reserve wines give depth and freshness to this smooth wine, embodying the Charles style."
This Brut Réserve in magnum has a deep, bright golden color, enlivened by a string of very fine bubbles, a sign of long aging in chalk cellars.
The nose opens elegantly with notes of golden brioche and candied yellow fruits (apricot and mirabelle plum), followed by toasted accents of almond and pistachio, carried by the influence of the reserve wines.
The palate offers a beautiful balance between freshness and creaminess. The texture is reminiscent of nougatine and pastry cream, enriched by aromas of dried fruit, praline, and damson. The finish is full, precise, and elegantly persistent.

Store the magnum in a cool, stable cellar (10-12°C), away from light. It can age for over 10 years without losing its freshness. Serve between 8 and 10°C in a tulip-shaped champagne glass to allow the aromas to express themselves fully.
