The Sparkling Tea Company is an innovative Danish company founded in 2017 in Copenhagen by award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba and his partner Bo Sten Hansen. Their ambition is to offer a new category of sparkling tea-based drinks, drawing their identity from the finest traditions of Asian teas, while taking inspiration from the elegance and complexity of the world of wine. Sparkling Tea offers a non-alcoholic gastronomic alternative that pairs well with the most delicate dishes. The teas are carefully selected from prestigious regions in India (Assam, Darjeeling), Japan, and China (Yunnan, Fujian). They are sourced from plants that are sometimes hundreds or even thousands of years old, carrying with them the history and richness of their land of origin.
The Sparkling Tea range consists of organic sparkling teas, created to celebrate the taste of tea in a new, sophisticated, and festive form. The BLÅ cuvée offers a complex and refined tasting experience. The delicate aromas of white teas, jasmine, and chamomile, enhanced with a touch of citrus, are reminiscent of the elegance of a Blanc de Blancs Champagne. The LYSEGRØN cuvée stands out for its fresh and refined profile. Dominated by elegant notes of green tea (Sencha) and citrus, LYSEGRØN offers an impressive mouthfeel reminiscent of the structure of a classic sparkling wine. As for the LYSERØD cuvée, it stands out for its subtle balance and dry character. An alcohol-free (0%) sparkling rosé carried by the tannic structure of Oolong tea and the fruity notes of hibiscus.
