Description

Brut Carte Noire from Thevenet-Delouvin is a Blanc de Noirs champagne dominated by Pinot Meunier and completed by Pinot Noir typical of the terroirs of the Vallée de la Marne where the establishment Thevenet-Delouvin is implanted.

Presentation of Isabelle et Xavier Thevenet

This is a Blanc de Noirs of 90% Pinot Meunier and 10% Pinot Noir grown in the Vallée de la Marne. The blend is made from grapes harvested on both sides of the valley, the right bank (Passy-Grigny) and the left bank (Cerseuil-Troissy).

The cuvee commercialized at the moment is a blend of two vintages : 2006 et 2007. Carte Noire with its intense fruit and gourmandize is a good reflection of its terroir. It is dosed at 10g/l.

Robe

Thevenet-Delouvin Carte Noire is a champagne with a brilliant golden robe dappled with tawny highlights. Its bubbles are light and finely dispersed.

Nose

Rich and complex on the nose, its floral and lightly vanilla and buttery fragrances give an agreeable sensation of freshness.

Palate

The mouth is sumptuous, but with good acidity, a slight vinosity and crisp fresh fruit aromas, such as green apple and pear.

Service

Its character and power make it the ideal champagne to accompany meals. Serve at 9°C.
