The Pierre Moncuit champagne house was founded at the end of the XIX century. They own nearly 50 acres at Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, 37 of which are classified Grand Cru, including old vines of over 50 years of age, which notably go into the composition of the limited edition cuvee Nicole Moncuit. Nicole Moncuit and her brother Yves Moncuit manage this family run company; he more particularly on the commercial side, and she is one of the rare women in the region to be responsible for vinification. Her champagnes are characterised by the precision of their fruit, their fine bubbles and their suppleness.
