The Pierre Moncuit Delos cuvée is a tribute to the founder of the house.
It is a champagne made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Grand Cru terroir of Mesnil-sur-Oger, a chalky soil that produces wines full of minerality and freshness.
This cuvée is vinified in stainless steel vats to preserve all the freshness and liveliness of the Chardonnay.
The Pierre Moncuit Delos cuvée is the signature cuvée of the Pierre Moncuit house.
Tasting
By Patrick BorrasThe Pierre Moncuit Delos cuvée is a champagne with a light yellow color and golden highlights. Its bubbles are intense and lively.
This champagne has a very fruity nose, with notes of white fruit, pear, and white peach. As it breathes, the nose evolves toward fresh, indulgent aromas.
On the palate, the Pierre Moncuit Delos cuvée offers perfect harmony with its nose, revealing minerality, freshness, and intensity. The balance is perfect! In the mid-palate, the champagne becomes richer and creamier, asserting its characteristic structure of a blanc de blancs.
This is a perfect wine for an aperitif, which I recommend serving at a temperature of around 9°C.
