Perrier-Jouët's Belle Epoque 2013 is a champagne of unique energy. It features all the finesse and delicacy of the Perrier-Jouët style, but also all the finesse, tension and freshness of the 2013 vintage.

This cuvée is offered here with a collector's box signed by artist Katharina Mischer.

It's a cuvée that combines a majority of Chardonnay, Pinots Noirs that bring vinosity and Pinot Meunier that offers beautiful fruit aromas.

2013 was marked by a particularly late vegetative cycle. An interminable winter finally gave way to a cold spring. Fortunately, a very sunny summer and low rainfall produced grapes of excellent ripeness. It was a vintage that resembled the classic Champagne vintages of the late 20th century.

Cuvée Belle Époque 2013 Perrier-Jouët offers a nose with notes of white flowers and citrus. The second evokes white fruits. There's a lovely freshness provided by the great Chardonnay terroirs of the Côte des Blancs.

On the palate, this is an elegant, very fine champagne, with a fresh attack followed by a rounder mouthfeel. We still have that classic mineral presence, which brings racy notes, and a lovely freshness.

Belle Epoque 2013 can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with shellfish, fish or white meat.
