Cordon Rouge in magnum format is made from a blend of over 77 crus. This blend captures the richness and minerality of the Champagne terroirs. It combines 45% Pinot Noir for its power and structure, 30% Chardonnay for its finesse and elegance, and 25% Pinot Meunier, which adds fruity and rounded notes. The reserve wines, representing 25 to 30% of the blend, add depth and complexity. After extended aging in the cellars of G.H. Mumm, the cuvée is dosed at 8 g/L, preserving its freshness while balancing its aromas.
Le Cordon Rouge is a non-vintage cuvée, created from a blend of several harvests. This process guarantees consistency of style from year to year. The reserve wines, some aged for four years, impart aromatic complexity and harmony that reflect the excellence of the Champagne terroirs.
The magnum reveals a clear golden color, crossed by fine, persistent bubbles that reflect its liveliness and freshness.
On the nose, this champagne reveals aromas of yellow fruits such as peach and apricot, mingled with exotic notes of lychee and pineapple, with a delicious hint of brioche and honey.
