Moët & Chandon's Brut Impérial, available here in a Methuselah bottle, is the world's best-selling champagne.
A Methuselah contains 6 liters of champagne, enough to serve around 50 flutes.
This great classic is remarkably consistent. It combines bubbles of unique finesse with aromas of pear and white flowers.
Brut Impérial is a blend of over 200 vintages, including the three Champagne grape varieties (Pinot Noir 30-40%, Pinot Meunier 30-40%, Chardonnay 20-30%), each of which brings its own touch and completes the wine's aromatic palette.
20 to 30% of reserve wines complete this blend, adding maturity and complexity.
Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial has a pale yellow color with green highlights and fine bubbles forming very lively cords.
On the nose, there are notes of apple and pear, as well as white flowers. These are followed by buttery aromas.
On the palate, Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial is lively with a slight acidity. It is flavorful and smooth.
Notes of stone fruit then appear on the palate.
This is a cuvée that is particularly enjoyable as an aperitif.
