The Maison Louis Nicaise is located in the commune of Hautvillers, the birthplace of Champagne and home of Dom Pérignon. It is on this Premier Cru classified terroir that Laure and Clément, the fourth generation, continue the family adventure. Louis Nicaise cuvées are made from the three Champagne grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier) using organic methods. Perfect expressions of their terroirs and the Maison's expertise, they are delicious and generous as an aperitif or with a meal.
The Louis Nicaise champagne range begins with the Cuvée Brut Réserve, a lightly dosed cuvée composed of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Pinot Meunier. Lively and fruity, it reveals a delicious salty palate, topped by fine, sustained bubbles that lead to a beautiful finish with syrupy fruit. The range also includes more sophisticated cuvées for connoisseurs, such as the Cuvée Les Noces Blanches, a Blanc de Blancs with a strong personality, made from the Les Prières and Les Petits Près plots. Composed of 30% solera and 50% vinified in Meursault barrels, only 3,000 bottles of this champagne are produced.
