Description
Louis Nicaise's Blanc de Noirs cuvée, "Noir," is produced in a limited edition of only 2,000 bottles. This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced entirely from the Premier Cru terroir of Hautvilliers, the original home of champagne where the famous Dom Pérignon worked.
Vinified in 70% oak barrels from the Hautvilliers forest and composed of 30% solera, this is a vinous champagne that will reveal itself throughout the meal.
On the nose, "Noir" reveals complex aromas of red fruits and slightly woody notes. Fresh and powerful on the palate, this is a voluptuous, structured and round cuvée. Its bubbles are fine and precise and its finish is full and sapid, with good length.
This is undeniably a very fine champagne for dining.
