Tasting

By Patrick Borras

Robe

The cuvee Grand Cru 2006 from Janisson & Fils is a luminous yellow with light green reflections. Its fine multitude of bubbles creates an overall impression of vivacity.

Nose

The nose offers typical Chardonnay aromas of fine fruit with toasted and brioche notes, combining complexity and delicacy.

Palate

The palate offers a rich silky attack and good balance with well integrated acidity which offers added vibrancy, all the charm of Grand Cru with a lively finish on citrus notes.

Service

Its bright freshness makes it the ideal champagne for aperitif, served between 8° and 9°C.
