Made from a blend of Chardonnay harvested in 2010, the Dame Blanche cuvée embodies the expertise of Maison Chaput. The grapes come from the Kimmeridgian clay-limestone terroirs around Arrentières, in the Côte des Bar. This unique soil imparts great minerality to the wine, underscored by a precise dosage of 5.5 g/L of MCR (rectified concentrated must), thus preserving the purity of the fruit.
The result of a long aging process of 13 years on slats, this cuvée is distinguished by its complexity, its freshness preserved thanks to slow maturation, and its accomplished aromatic expression. It is a refined and generous champagne, perfect for special occasions.
The year 2010 in Champagne was marked by a cool, wet start, followed by a milder summer. Conditions allowed the Chardonnays to ripen beautifully, particularly on the limestone terroirs, producing balanced, taut wines with excellent aging potential. La Dame Blanche is a superb expression of this.
The Dame Blanche cuvée has a clear, light yellow color with green highlights. The effervescence is fine and delicate.
An expressive nose combining brioche notes, hints of almond and a lemony freshness. With aeration, the bubbles burst, releasing rich aromas.
The palate seduces with its creamy texture and great freshness. The whole is balanced and persistent, with an elegant and thirst-quenching finish.
The price of a bottle of Dame Blanche Jacques Chaput is 35,95 €. A long-aging Blanc de Blancs with remarkable balance, ideal for accompanying exceptional moments.
Blanc de Blancs enthusiasts praise the elegance and precision of this cuvée. Its long aging gives it a rare complexity and a highly appreciated creamy texture. Read reviews of the Dame Blanche cuvée.

Tasting
By Patrick BorrasThe Blanc de Blancs from Jacques Chaput has a light yellow color with bright yellow highlights. Its bubbles are intense, beautiful, and delicate.
This champagne has a very pleasant, fresh nose with the typical aromas of well-crafted Chardonnay. Brioche notes are punctuated by more mineral notes. It has a very subtle nose.
On the palate, the attack is fresh and mineral, with a beautiful roundness provided by slightly buttery notes and an almost perfect balance.
This champagne is delightful as an aperitif, with remarkable freshness. I recommend serving Jacques Chaput Blanc de Blancs at a temperature of 9°C.
