The Brut Rosé from Jacques Chaput is a delicious, full-bodied and fruity champagne.
Made from the same blend as the Brut Tradition, with 5 to 10% red champagne wine added, the Brut Rosé Jacques Chaput is a contrasting, indulgent cuvée, with a dosage of 10.5g/L and aged for 30 months in the cellar.
Tasting
By Patrick BorrasJacques Chaput Brut Rosé has a pink color with brick-red highlights. Its fine, rare bubbles hint at a delicate champagne.
This wine has a very fruity nose, with delicious notes of red berries, strawberry, and fresh cherry. There are also lighter, fresher aromas, brought out by citrus notes, particularly pink grapefruit.
On the palate, the attack is very pleasant and indulgent. The aromas of fresh red fruit are present, but there is also a beautiful creaminess that makes this a subtle and delicate champagne.
I suggest serving this champagne as an aperitif or with red fruit desserts. Ideally, Jacques Chaput Brut Rosé should be enjoyed at a temperature of 8 to 9°C.
