The Brut Tradition from Jacques Chaput is a very elegant champagne with floral and pastry notes.
A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, this cuvée has been aged for between two and three years in the Chaput cellars to refine and round out its aromas.
Its dosage is 8.5g/L.
This is a balanced and flattering champagne with a touch of vinosity.
Tasting
By Patrick BorrasThe Brut Tradition Chaput has a beautiful golden yellow color. Its bubbles are fine and lively.
This champagne has a complex and intense nose, accentuated by aromas of dried fruit and punctuated by fresher, more mineral notes. This gives it a light and pleasant nose.
The attack on the palate is beautiful, unfolding a very silky and rich texture. On the palate, Brut Tradition Chaput offers a certain vinosity, very pleasant, punctuated by more mineral, fresher notes.
This is undeniably a champagne with character, perfect not only as an aperitif but also with a meal. I recommend serving this cuvée at around 8 to 9°C.
