Henriot Brut Souverain is an iconic cuvée from Maison Henriot, offering unique complexity and precision. Its main note of fresh citrus makes it perfect for celebratory occasions.
Henriot Brut Souverain is a skilful blend of the three main Champagne grape varieties: approximately 45% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. This cuvée reflects the diversity of the House's terroirs, with 29 different crus, and combines 50 to 70% of wines from the current year with 30 to 50% of reserve wines. The grapes come mainly from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.
The vinification of Henriot Brut Souverain follows precise techniques to ensure exceptional quality. All vinification and aging take place in stainless steel vats to preserve maximum freshness and minerality. The wine is aged for a minimum of three years in the historic cellars of Maison Henriot, allowing the aromas to develop fully. With a dosage of less than 7g/L, this cuvée maintains a perfect balance between freshness and complexity.
Henriot Brut Souverain has a golden color with bright highlights and fine bubbles, reflecting its superior quality.
On the nose, this champagne offers a rich and diverse aromatic palette with notes of fresh citrus biscuits, stone fruits and red berries, as well as a hint of smoke and pure chalk.
On the palate, Henriot Brut Souverain is full-bodied, straightforward and round, with a lingering freshness that makes it ideal as an aperitif or with delicate dishes. The finish is clean and refreshing, marked by lingering citrus aromas.
The price of a bottle of Brut Souverain Henriot is 39,95 €. This price reflects the quality and expertise of Maison Henriot, which has been producing exceptional champagnes for over 200 years. Although this champagne is not the cheapest, it offers excellent value for money for a cuvée of such finesse and complexity.
