Elegant and timeless, Brut Souverain from Maison Henriot is the iconic cuvée of this house founded in 1808 by Apolline Henriot. A refined blend of the three great Champagne grape varieties, this multi-vintage, multi-vineyard champagne expresses all the richness and diversity of the Henriot vineyard. Its perfect balance between complexity and freshness makes it an essential reference.
Brut Souverain is the result of a meticulous blend of 29 crus, selected from the finest terroirs in Champagne. Each grape variety plays an essential role in the balance of the cuvée:
This multi-vintage champagne contains 30 to 50% reserve wines, some of which come from the Maison Henriot's specific blending reserve. Thanks to three years of extended aging in the cellar and a dosage of less than 7 g/L, it reveals remarkable complexity while retaining great freshness.
The Brut Souverain has a pale golden color with a fine, persistent effervescence.
On the nose, a ballet of aromas unfolds: delicious biscuit notes, hints of fresh citrus, a subtle smoky touch and a beautiful chalky minerality.
On the palate, the attack is full and structured, supported by beautiful tension. Flavors of stone fruits and red berries mingle with a long, refreshing finish, where elegance and precision dominate.
Brut Souverain can be enjoyed immediately to appreciate its freshness or kept for 4 to 6 years for a rounder, more complex flavor. Serve between 9 and 12°C in a tulip glass to bring out all its aromas.
Choosing Henriot Brut Souverain means choosing a champagne that tells the story of the house through the expression of its iconic crus. Its aromatic richness and perfect balance make it an ideal choice for all occasions.
Since its creation, Brut Souverain has embodied Apolline Henriot's vision: to capture the essence of the best terroirs in Champagne through a rigorous selection of crus and masterful blending. True to this tradition, this cuvée continues to shine through the centuries.
